Athena Santiago

Investigaytor

Hi! I’m Athena (any pronouns), an Anthropology student specializing in Cultural Anthropology and decolonizing research. My advocacy work is shaped by my experiences as an AuDHD and minority student navigating systemic barriers and promoting trauma-informed, accessible, and consent-based practices.

I’m continuously exploring my gender identity alongside my culture, embracing the intersections of both in my personal and academic journey.

With a background in architecture, I’m passionate about addressing socioeconomic disparities in planning and design and rethinking how we perceive accessibility. I actively participate in several book clubs in the city and love thinking of the Shrek 1 and 2 as drag movies.
