Grace Holwell
Knowledge Translation and Exchange Strategist
Grace (she/her) is a settler living on Treaty 1 territory in Manitoba. She is a Master student in the Department of Social Work at the University of Manitoba. Her main area of interest includes examining the many intersections of sexual, reproductive, and gender-affirming health, specifically 2SLGBTQQIA+ health. Grace discovered her passion for inclusive sexual health while volunteering for the Halifax Sexual Health Resource Centre and being on the board of directors for the South Shore Sexual Health Centre. She plans on working towards the goal of creating a world where sexual health is anti-oppressive, sex-positive, pro-choice, accessible, non-judgemental, and free from violence.
Grace is currently focused on bridging the gap between the Village Lab’s research and the wider community through knowledge translation. When she is not immersed in research or social media strategy, she can be found baking, spending time with loved ones, and cuddling her cat, Dodger.
