Kas Maverick

Investigaytor

Kas (he/him) is an Iranian-Canadian settler living on Treaty 1 territory in Manitoba. His research interests surround addressing psycho-social barriers within unhoused 2SLGBTQIA+ youth and strengthening community health interventions.

Kas earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at the University of Alberta. He’s worked within various crisis intervention roles, primarily in emergency departments across Edmonton.

Kas is excited to be an Investigaytor within the Village Lab. He looks forward to learning more about 2SLGBTQIA+ community health research. On his free time, he plays volleyball, enjoys café-hopping, and hanging out with his adorable cat (Meatball).
