Patricia Ukoli is a Master of social work student at the Faculty of Social Work at the University of Manitoba. She has worked on multiple projects raising awareness about HIV and conducting HIV community-based research. She also volunteers for various organizations that support people living with HIV as well as organizations that provide sexual and reproductive programs and services.

Patricia also facilitated community-based research on early infant diagnosis with women living with HIV in Nigeria, which was supported by the Global Network of People Living with HIV and the International Council of Women. She is currently a research coordinator for the Ubuntu-Pamoja Study.
